The Team: What we do

The Physiotherapy Department at Christchurch Hospital is a large team with diverse clinical interests and specialties. We’re currently seeking an experienced Physiotherapist who is ideally a registered Hand Therapist or with experience in Hand Therapy. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity.

The Role: Where you fit in

This is an excellent opportunity for a Physiotherapist with musculoskeletal expertise to develop specialist skills, or for a Hand Therapist to continue working in this field.

In this role, you will be responsible for the following:

  • As a Physiotherapist you will assess and manage the treatment and rehabilitation of a variety of musculoskeletal conditions affecting the upper limb
  • You will work closely with your fellow Physiotherapists to provide specialist care within the scope of Hand Therapy

Your skills will include the following:

  • It is essential that you have demonstrable time management and problem solving skills to work in a busy outpatient setting
  • You will require excellent communications skills
  • You will need to have an understanding of inter-disciplinary team work
  • Registered Hand Therapists or experience in Hand Therapy is preferable

Full support will be provided. Training can be supported for the right applicant.
